I am from a small town in Maryland, which is located right by the Chesapeake Bay. I am the youngest in my family and I have an older bother who is a junior at the University of Salisbury. Living right next to the bay I have practically grown up on the water all my life; some of my favorite activities to do on the water is fishing, tubing, jet skiing, and wake boarding. In my free time I like to play sports such as tennis, soccer, and basketball; as well as play video games, skating, hanging out with friends and family. I am currently majoring in engineering and would like to focus my discipline towards the electrical field. For my blog I plan on talking about wildfires that have been happening around the world, more recently the ones going on in Australia. This problem is important to me because almost everyday people are loosing their homes and sometime lives during these catastrophic events. The fires are also destroying the native habit for animals that live in the local area.
